In 10 days, we’ll cross China by train and ascend to Tibet along the world’s highest railway. As the landscape shifts from imperial capitals and Buddhist grottoes to desert expanses and vast high plateaus, so does perspective. Some days unfold slowly with the rhythm of the rails, suspended between places. Other days are for stepping into history, sacred mountains and the rarefied air of Lhasa where altitude, silence and scale change the way you see.

This year, we’re launching something truly special!
China is still surprisingly underrated as a travel destination and almost no one experiences it like this: crossing the country entirely by rail, from imperial Beijing to the Tibetan Plateau.
From the Great Wall and dynastic capitals to Buddhist cave temples carved into cliffs. From desert provinces to vast high-altitude plains. The scenery shifts outside the window and so does perspective. The train isn’t just transportation here. It’s the thread holding the experience together. And then comes the ascent.
From Xining, we board the world’s highest railway — the Qinghai–Tibet Railway — climbing above 5,000 meters. The train cabins are pressurized, oxygen is supplied onboard, and the landscape gradually opens into the Tibetan Plateau.
This is not a metaphorical transition. You feel it physically.
We arrive in Lhasa at 3,650 meters above sea level, the spiritual heart of Tibetan Buddhism. The air is thinner. The pace changes. The scale is different. Tibet isn’t just another region it’s a shift in atmosphere.
